July 17, 2017

Hi MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My week has been fun and hard.  Hard because it’s hard to find some people sometimes. I loved the pics and video from Bear River. It did not make me sad at all.  I’m glad to see the family still having fun. Ashlyn’s cheer pics look awesome. That’s funny that the kids didn’t ride through the river. I’m not going to do the daily thing, I just don’t feel like typing lol. I’m going to tell you some of our experiences this past week.

We did an exchange last week and I learned a lot from the guy I was with.  I love exchanges because you can learn from different missionaries. We did service for this one lady and it involved moving an old 1900 bank stang. It was hard but we went to lunch after so it was a great thing. One day we decided to stop at a little store and just look around.  This guy looked at us and said Yall missionaries!!!!!! He said he met with missionaries back in New York.  He wanted a Book of Mormon and a Bible and he said he would call us. We didn’t expect that at all but we were there at the right moment I guess.  I mowed half of a lawn because the mower broke after. And the week involved a lot of reading the Book of Mormon with people. We had dinner at the branch president’s home yesterday. And yeah that was about it.

Tonight we are going to Docs to help her with her yard.  We are having an exchange on Wednesday through Thursday with the Camden Elders. They come here since Elder Morley is the district leader. But that’s really the only big things that are happening this week. This morning we went fishing. We caught nothing.

Selma is my favorite area so far.  Because I’m having the most fun here and I love doing service the most and Elder Morley and I make things work easy. Lol!  We do a lot of service here. That’s mainly the only thing we can do here because people don’t want to change. Not really a lot of kids here, it’s just people that.......... basically screw up their lives.  We eat at members’ homes once a week. Sometimes we at Docs and sometimes we just eat at home.

For church we have Sacrament and the normal classes.  We only taught primary once and I gave a talk in sacrament meeting and Elder Morley taught Sunday School once. It is crazy how small the branch and church building is but I like the small church. You don’t have to memorize that many names. Lol. I thought it was sad too when I first saw that there was only one primary kid.  I can’t imagine not having anyone in your class.

I owe Elder Morley a lunch for his bday. It’s on the 23rd but we will go on the 22nd to celebrate. He’s turning 20. President and Sister Sainsbury live in the same stake as Elder Morley and they live down the street from each other.

Did you get the pics from the Methodist couple? We were walking and she was like yall want to take some pics of yall in a real southern home? So of course we said yes. She met missionaries before so we went over there. We met her the first week I was here. Missionaries used to live across the street from them so they were like mom and dad for them. Lol.

I’ve had a lot of dreams about me being home and talking with yall. I’ve had dreams that I just cannot explain. That’s another thing the mission is doing to me is giving me a lot of dreams.
I love my mission so far.  It’s turning me into who I’m meant to be.

LOVE YOU FOREVER!!!!!!!!!  Miss you like crazy too!!!
Elder Webb
