Hey mom,
I’m doing good. We are in Millbrook right now and so I will just tell you about our week instead of the mon through fri, I have pics for you this week.
I love the pictures of Thanksgiving. I love those and I’m so glad that dad is doing well. I’ve been praying for him and his health and yall as well.
Thanksgiving was good. We had lunch at the Talbot's. We played scum and we took pics and talked and that was about it. And then we went to Docs and were there for the rest of the night. We had fun but it wasn't as fun as last year.
We had district meeting and we played bocce for the icebreaker and we had a great meeting. I said the closing prayer as well. We had lunch at the martins and later that night we went to the Harmony club and they gave us both pocket knives and I got a new watch from them. It’s really nice.
We had a zone activity today and before we had a flag football game at 730. While we were driving there I got pulled over in a construction zone for going 58 in a 35. The officer took my license and asked for proof of insurance and while I was looking for that he looked at me and said just be careful and gave me my license back and let us go. I didn’t see the sign for that but as soon as the cop saw me I knew I messed up and he appreciated me pulling over before he turned on his lights. Lesson learned. #blessed. It was a miracle because I thought I was gonna get a huge ticket. That was an experience. Don’t worry, you know I’m a good driver anyways. So it’s ok.
We then played ball and we went to an island for the activity. We had a hot dog eating contest and I participated in the pie eating contest. I got 2nd place lol. And then we played some more stuff then we came here to email with Millbrook.
Nobody is speaking of the football game. Alabama was just awful. We won’t have pday on Monday. The temple trip is next week and so they moved Pday to Thursday. But I’m still gonna do stuff on my birthday with Camden. Don’t know what but I will let you know next week. One more birthday and then I can share it with my family. I have a week left of being a teenager. It’s sad but I’m moving on with life. Nobody’s offered to do anything on my bday. Doc will prob do something on my bday but that’s about it.
We did service for a member. We moved a bunch of plywood and we helped him put together his smoker and we moved a water heater. That was on Wednesday and we didn’t do that much service besides that during the week. We have people that would like us to come so we will have more stuff next week to do. In small towns like this there isn’t that much to do. We try to find more investigators but people just like their own stuff. We try to do more service to soften people. Service softens stony souls.
Elder Church likes Selma, he enjoys it. I play basketball and play football but other than that I don’t get much exercise. Also, Doc will be baptized March 17th or 18th. We finally figured it out.
There’s a pic from a year ago and now at the same spot.
THANK YOU MOM!
LOVE YOU FOREVER!!!!!!!!
Elder Webb
Here’s a song that I almost cry to when I hear it. A member in Selma shared it with me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECKoDl5zy_g (Garth Brooks...Mom)
