June 26, 2017

Hey mom!!!!!!!!!

I’m going to Selma Alabama!  Wow. Out of all places.  I HAVE A CAR THOUGH!!!!!  I will be with Elder Morley.  I have no idea what he’s like. All I’ve heard is he’s chill. He’s been out almost as long as I have.

I’m doing great, a little sad but I’m prepared for this transfer. It’s been very rainy here, but the last 2 days have been great. Oh by the way Sister Root sent you a message on Facebook last night.

Wow, seems like alot has happened lol. Grandma sent me a pic of the trailer, HOLY COW ITS BIG! How’s the Sportsman doing? That’s cool about Ash! Here’s the week.

MONDAY- So after we left the church, we went home and changed and went to dinner with the Smithson's at Chick fil a and then we tried to see some people.  We went home and as we were writing in our journals we got a call from Elder Mason (apartment manager over the mission) and he said that he’s gonna come get our washer and dryer tomorrow! So ya that was the night.

TUESDAY- Today we went to a place called rock steady and we helped old people with boxing.  So that was fun.  I held a punching bag while they hit it. Lol! Then we left and we went back to our apartment and Elder Mason came and told us why he was taking the washer and dryer.  He took them so now we use the apartment washer and dryer with quarters.  So we helped him and then we had lunch and then we went and saw this person Arlene Morgan and she was happy to see us.  We showed her the video the savior understands me. We left and we went home and did comp study and we discussed different topics and I learned a lot.  Then we went and taught this great lesson to this guy named Reaph with a member and then we went home. A member gave me 100 dollars to fix my bike. Blessings!!!!

WEDNESDAY- Today was a short day.  We went and saw this guy Eric and then we came back and did phone finding and then we had dinner.  We went and saw a less active and then we went and saw William and had a great lesson and then we went home and went to basketball and that was it.

THURSDAY- Today was an ok day.  We spent most of the time inside because it was raining alot and so we went and did laundry and that was 3 hours and then we went and did weekly planning.  We did comp study and then we went to the Swensons and had dinner there and then we went home for the rest of the night.

FRIDAY- Today was a stormy day.  There was a tornado watch the whole day and alot of rain storms so we went to district meeting in the morning and then when we were going to go home it started raining so hard outside.  We finally got to go home and then some elders came and saw Elder Craddock and then they left and we were in house arrest because of the storm.  We went to the Haymonds and the Roots were there as well and then after dinner we played reverse charades and then we left and that was it.

SATURDAY- Today we got up and went to walmart and then we had lunch and then Elder Craddock made some snicker doodles.  We went to Sparkman and had a farewell bbq with the zls since they're going home and then we went to a patriotic concert.  Boy oh boy was that cool!  After that we went home with the zls and they told us the info about transfers and wow was I shocked in a good way. That was it. I packed mostly tonight.

SUNDAY- We got up and we went to coordination meeting and then we went to the other meetings.  Then we had sacrament meeting, nobody showed up.  But President Sainsbury and his wife were speaking in our ward so after church we talked with them about member missionary work and then we went home.  There were a lot of people at church that was sad that I was leaving. They even announced it in sacrament meeting.  We went to the Roots for dinner and then we stayed at their place and then came home.

MONDAY- Today we got up and did our laundry and boy oh boy it was long.  Then we came here and now we are emailing.  We are going to dinner at 5 and then we are going to this guy Reaph with a member to teach him the plan of salvation.  He’s been really open about the bom.

The picture of us sculpting soap was an ice breaker one of the missionaries came up with.

As far as my bike, they put a new rim on but I guess his boss didn’t think I needed the double walled rim so I basically got the same rim. So we will see what happens.  He says that the rim I had on is what mountain bikers use.

Yes I got the package!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks!!!

Next week is the hump week!!!!! I will have pics next week.

Love you,
Elder Webb

June 19, 2017

Hey mom!!!!

I’m not going to do the weekly thing today.  I came back too late from the caves and the computers are really slow loading my pics.   The caves were fun, I’ll show you some pics of it. It was us and Elder Burgoyne and Elder Lindstrom.  I will just talk about the stuff this week. The video was cool, I loved it.  I took some pics of the week, we didn’t really have much happen.  Nobody came to church and we’ve just been trying to teach our investigators. We had an exchange on Friday and I went with Elder Lindstrom and that was about it. We had interviews and it was a weird one because president just asked me is there anything you want to talk about? He asked that 4 times, but that’s about it. Fish Lake looked fun though! Why does Tyler have glasses?

We don’t have anything planned this week except for a few appointments.  Elder Craddock and I are getting along.  He’s not as sarcastic as I am, but he’s still cool.

I’m gonna have to get going soon.  Sorry it’s so quick.  I took alot of pics this week though.

LOVE YOU FOREVER!!!!!!!!
Elder Webb

June 12, 2017

Hi Mom!!!!!

This week has been a busy one for sure. We’ve both had ups and downs this week but everything is working out. I just got done playing bocce with another missionary and of course since they're plastic, one of them broke. It hit a door in the church and split open. But oh well I guess. Here’s my week.

MONDAY- so after we left the church we went back and shopped and showered and went and saw this guy Anthony.  We taught him the plan of salvation and then we went and tried to see this guy Nathan but he wasn't home so we came back and waited for gmas pizza.

TUESDAY- TODAY IS 11 MONTHS!!!!! Wow that went quick! We biked a lot today.  We went up to see a less active and she taught us about aliens and how they're real. Lol.  Then we left and went to drop off a Book of Mormon to this referral named Andrew.  He’s 16 and he asked us a lot about our mission and about the bom. Then we left and went to dinner at the Dudleys.  The husband is a non member and awhile back I told him I’m from Utah and he blew up and talked with me about a bunch of Utah stuff, good things.  Then we taught him about the bom and then we went to see some former investigators that the sisters taught when they were here but they weren't home so we went and saw the Foils and then we came home.

WEDNESDAY- Today was a good day.  We went to district meeting and Brandon Lee came and I led a discussion with everyone and it went very well.  Then we went home and had lunch and did comp study and then we went with Brother Swenson to see Anthony and then we went to see some other people and then we went and helped someone move a bed frame and then we went to bball and that was it.

THURSDAY- We went with the Sparkman Elders to help them with a service project raking pine needles and then we went to FIVE GUYS.  We went home and showered and we went to see this guy Ralph and then we went to see William and taught another great lesson and then we went to dinner at china moon with the Driggers.  We went to ultimate frisbee and played that with Tim and Brandon. That was it. Brandon is keeping me updated with the NBA finals.

FRIDAY- Today was a good day.  We went and saw this couple John and Jessica.  They have been looking for a church for a long time and then we went to dinner with this couple the Teofiols.  The wife is from Puerto Rico and the husband is from Samoa.  They met us and took us to Golden Corral and we got to know each other better.  The wife used to be a member and then she fell away, she takes care of missionaries though.  Then we left and went home and went to Walmart.

SATURDAY-Today was a good day.  We went and helped this guy Chris move to Kentucky and then we talked with him and then we went home and did comp and personal study.  We went to see this guy Eric and then we went to try to see one more person and then we went to dinner at the Bishops home.  We went to Brandon Lees farewell party.  He leaves for Billings Montana on the 21st of this month.  He’s been doing missionary work with us to get experience. Then we went home after that.

SUNDAY- Today was a great day.  We had 2 investigators come to church William and Anthony.  Anthony stayed for 2 hours and William stayed for all 3.  Then we went home and had dinner and then we went to see the Shellmans and then we went over to see Mandy Currier and then we came home for the night.

MONDAY- I was reading some of the old letters from way back, then we came to the church and I played bball and played bocce with Elder Dawson and now I’m emailing.  We are gonna see someone tonight and that’s about it. We don’t dinner but I think we have a fair amount this week.
We do stuff with the zls alot. We also have interviews on Friday.

It’s been warm outside.

Y’all should send videos of stuff just like Ash did and Tyler’s trick shots.

Well mom I’m going to play some volleyball.  I LOVE YOU FOREVER AND EVER!!!!!!
HAVE A GREAT WEEK!

Love, Elder Webb

June 5, 2017

Hi mom!!!!!

I’m doing great.  We had a zone activity this morning so we just got to the church and that’s why I’m emailing a little later.  We played a Nerf war, human clue and bball.  We also had zone conference on Thursday, it was from 9am to 5pm.  It was a good one. I’m not doing the weekly thing this week.

Grandma sent me a pic of them at Moab.

We are mostly walking now with my bike out of commission.  Sometimes we get rides.

I have a notebook that I’m using as my journal right now. Can you believe I’m almost a year out!!!!!!! It feels like 7 months to me!  It’s going fast.

My bike has problems again.  I’m needing permission from yall to get a new rim for my bike.  I’ve had to have someone replace 8 spokes, so he suggested to get a new rim. The backs smaller than the front.  They put a smaller one on in Wetumpka so the spokes are alot smaller so they break easier.  I’ve been going on with this for a long time.  This guy Thomas can buy one for me and put it on. He would order the same front tire rim and spokes and they would put it on for me. Ill have him call dad about it.

One awesome thing that happened this week.  We’ve been visiting this lady Sharon Jett.  Her son is in prison for a false charge.  He’s going to be in there until the year 2040.  So we talked with her and I kept having the impression to ask her if she wanted a priesthood blessing.  It kept going and felt like something was poking me and saying “just do it”.  So I finally said something and I explained what it was and how it’s done.  I thought she was going to say “are you crazy?”  But instead she looked at me and said “yes I’d love one, could you give me one?”  And so I started giving her the blessing and she started crying during it and after she said “thank you so much I feel more at peace now” and then we left.  That happened Tuesday night.  I thought that was really cool and the spirit was so strong.

Here’s some pics for the week.

Love you forever!!!!!
