Hi mom!!!!

It was soo hard after the call!!!! I was walking back and forth in that room for 5 min trying to stop crying. I loved the talk it was good to see yall at least on a screen. Elder B was on for 10 min longer. Elder B didn’t get as sad as I did after the call, he’s used to it lol.
Dinner last night was great.  We had ham and sweet potato casserole (it tastes like a cinnamon roll) and then we went home. I was just sad the rest of the day. I didn’t show it. I just felt it. Today was soo much fun!!! We had mac and cheese, salad, soup and stuff like that. For the white elephant game, I ended up getting a reeses peanut butter cup and popcorn. Then we went bowling and I came in 4th place out of 16 people. idk about new years eve. We will see. There was an Elder here that loved Ariana Grande. He’s home now but that’s soo cool for Ash though. Yes it’s not the same feeling here at Christmas but I’ll be ok. I know yall will be ok. There’s one more thing I forgot to say when we said goodbye because I was crying. I MISS YALL SOO MUCH!!!!!!!! THERES NOT A DAY WHERE I DONT MISS YALL!!!

Elder B thinks I’m leaving next transfer. He hates transfers. I love the book you gave me for my birthday.
We are going over to James and Annette’s at 7:30 tonight.  They are having us over for dinner and they got presents for us.

That’s always fun to go shopping with Ash! Not! Tell Tyler happy birthday!!!! I won’t be able to email tomorrow so I just want him to know that he’s not forgotten about. He’s one of the strongest people I know. He knows alot more about the gospel than some people down here.

We don’t have that much else going on this week. Just some meal appointments but that’s about it. Here’s some pics from our zone activity this morning!

We were able to skype for 3 hours!  It was great to talk and see him but the goodbye was extremely HARD on everyone! We miss him!

Hi Mom!!!!!

My week was great.  I don’t have that many pictures but I did have a good week. I will be at Bro Johnsons house to Skype you. I will have to create an account when we get over there. I’ll call you right before I skype. 11am will be the time. We have sacrament meeting from 9 to 10. After church we are going to his house and eating and skyping. It will be around 11. (which your time is 10am.) I don’t care if it’s with everyone or with just the 5 of us. yall choose. I will look out for the packages. I will not open them until Sunday.  We have presents under our tree.

I sent yall a letter on Saturday.  It’s 4 Christmas cards from the Wetumpka Elders.  That’s cool that yall are still doing the whole Sunday dinner thing. That’s soo cool that Dad got a letter from that lady from his mission.  That’s awesome. If I ever come back to Wetumpka to visit I’ve already got a place to stay. James and Anette said I could crash at their place if I come back. Thats soo cool to hear about dad!!

MONDAY- we went to Alex city like I said and then we came back and emailed for a bit. Then we went home. Wasn’t that big of a day.
TUESDAY- We were supposed to have our exchange but one of the ZLs got really sick so we couldn't do it this week. We are doing it next week. So we went and tried to see some of our investigators but they weren't home because of Christmas coming up. So we went to Walmart and tried to find people but we only found one person. We are seeing them on Saturday.
WEDNESDAY- We got up and went and did service for this couple who were moving. We got done at about 4. So we went back and changed and went and tried to see some people but that didn’t work so we went to mutual with the sisters and then we went home.
THURSDAY- Thursday Elder Butterfield wasn’t feeling too well.  He was up all night with the craps. So we stayed in most of the day. I gave him a priesthood blessing and about 3 hours after he finally had enough energy to go out. But it was 5:30 so we just tried to go see this couple. They didn’t have time for us so we just came home after trying to find some others.
FRIDAY- Today was our mission Christmas party. So we were up in Bessemer all day. We had a little zone conference and then we had our talent show. Me and Elder B didn’t do anything. But there was a guy who played the saxophone. Then after the talent show we watched Zootopia. After that was over we went and had a small devotional for the missionaries who were departing. Then we came back home. Today I officially ran out of money, lol. I spent it on groceries and stuff like that. I used Amees Walmart card last week on Monday. It has 5 left on it. I just ran out of grandmas.
SATURDAY- We got up and went and helped these people with yardwork. Then we came home and took a nap. Then we went and saw James and Annette. We taught them about the temples. Then I shared my testimony and I think it touched him. But I’m not sure. Then we ended the day with seeing this couple Stanley and Madeline.
SUNDAY- We had ward council in the morning and then it was Sacrament meeting. After church we went home and took a nap. Then we got a phone call from Bro Bryant saying that he needed help with a blessing. The guy was getting eye surgery the next day. He was blind. So I anointed him with oil and bro Bryant gave the blessing. He thanked us and then he took us back home and that was our day.
TODAY- Just email and play bball. We have an appointment at 7pm. No dinner appointments this week. We had like 3 last week.

We don’t have the car. We are walking alot more now. We can’t go do anything. We are broke. All of the people who have us over for dinner come and get us.

I got something for you to eat on my 6 month mark, Chicken and dumplings with Grapico soda. Grapico is a soda down here. And this is a southern thing, put about 5 salted peanuts in your coke. It’s actually pretty good.

Tell Ash that I drove the jeep everywhere. I’m giving her permission to drive it! Lol. It’s a good thing yall didn’t sell my car.

My suit looks big because I’m losing weight. I have people telling me that I’ve got taller too.
I usually start the conversations with investigators with Alabama football.  I’m gonna come home an Alabama fan. OH YA ROLL TIDE!!!

I got a letter from Bro Atkinson with some of the youth from the ward. I sent them back letters. It was pretty cool.

Here’s a pic of me and Sister Gilbert.  We are in the same zone.  The black Elder just went home in November, the other 2 have been out for 4 months and one has been out for 1 year. Sister Beck is the one girl. She lives near us. She was in my friend Sebastian's ward back home.

Hi Mom!!!!

My week was great I have lots of pics and a lot to tell you about.

MONDAY- Birthday dinner with the Robinson's. They wanted me to come over because they wanted to celebrate my bday,  so we had country fried steak with rolls and green beans. Then she made me a cake and they sang happy birthday. Typical me I was a little shy but I loved it.  It made me feel like it was home. Then we went home for the night.

TUESDAY- we got up and we had a zone training at 9am in Prattville. When we got there, there were new faces because of transfers. Me and Elder Butterfield had to do a training about how Heavenly Father speaks to us. Then after the training, it was 4pm so we went and had lunch with the zone at chappies. It was very good.  It was the first time in 3 months that I’ve had a hamburger. After we left we had to go get a tire rotation and an oil change on our car. I’ll tell you why in a bit. It took an hour so we went to target and just looked around and we actually saw some missionaries from Birmingham on their way to Montgomery. Then we went home. We got home at 8pm. We had to get an oil and tire rotation because of vehicle inspections on Thursday.

WEDNESDAY- we got to do some missionary work today! We went and saw this guy Frank and then we went and saw this couple James and Anette, then we got the car and went and saw Steven .  He was doing great, he is actually moving to Montgomery.  Then we went and tried to see some other people then ended the night with just talking with the sisters.

THURSDAY- We got up and started our 2 hour drive to the temple. At the temple we had to show up 2 hours early to have our vehicles inspected and then we got to go through the temple. It is so beautiful. Then after the temple I saw my trainer Elder Lewis. He was so excited to see me. He saw my new haircut and he loves it.  We took some pics and then we started our 2 hour drive back at 5pm. Then suddenly we got pulled over and the officer said that our car was expired but they looked the car up and it was renewed. There wasn't a new sticker on the car. Everything is ok, don’t worry. It was my first time getting pulled over, I was driving lol. We are getting the sticker on Friday. Then we got home at 9pm. Traffic was soo bad, bumper to bumper.

FRIDAY- Today was a great day we went and tried to see some referrals but they weren't there. At 5 we went downtown to a nativity thing and spent the rest of the day there.  It’s where a bunch of different churches come together and do a nativity and other activities on the Wetumpka river.  I have some pics of what we did. We are also putting a Christmas card together.

SATURDAY- We just went finding and we didn’t have any luck that day. It was more of a bad day then a good day. It rained the whole time. So we couldn't go anywhere because the sisters had the car.

SUNDAY- We had church and then we went home and took a nap then the sisters wanted us to go and help them take pics for their Christmas card. Elder B wasn't feeling too good today. Then we went to dinner with this couple the Baileys. We had chicken and dumplings. It was soo good. The guy looks and talks exactly like grandpa. lol its soo funny. Apparently an old southern thing is to get a coke and put peanuts in it. It’s pretty good.
Then we came home.

Today we went to Alex city and helped the sisters there take pics for their Christmas card. It was soo fun!!!!!

On our down time we just have our lax sticks and we have our usbs and we listen to music. sleep. Lol.   We are playing bball later.

For Christmas we are going to the bishop’s house and having dinner Christmas night and going to skype at bro Johnsons, he’s the ward mission leader. Elder B called on Christmas Eve last year so I’m just gonna do what he does.

That’s good that Tyler liked the field house. I miss going around temple square at Christmastime. Wow.

There isn’t that much going on this week. We are going on exchanges tomorrow.
