Hi Mom,

This morning we went to Prattville for a zone activity.  We ate some food (some gross and some good things) and played capture the flag. It was a companionship potluck. Yes Elder Lewis gets lots of emails like 100 each Monday. No he hasn't got any packages from his home. It makes me feel bad when I usually get stuff. There’s some good food here. I’m starting to warm up to enchiladas. The rest of today we are just emailing and then going to teach at 630. Yes we have a card for just the car to get gas. We have to record the cost, odometer, adj daily miles. I got an email from Mathew LaBaron. That was cool!

We had a pretty good week but no investigators being baptized. We met 3 new investigators yesterday. We met a guy named Frank on Thursday and talked about the Restoration. He told us we could come back tomorrow. So we went back on Friday and he didn’t even remember who we were. He thought Joseph Smith was in the Bible. So we dropped him. He couldn't remember anything. The Temple trip was amazing. The temple is very small but very nice and peaceful. While we were there we tried to go to the bike shop, but when we got there, nothing was there.  No bike or nothing. So then we went to Zaxbys and got chicken with our gift card. A less active member gave us a 40 dollar gift card to Zaxbys. We will watch general conference at the church. Yes I got your package and grandmas money. We loved the pizza you had delivered. We gave a box to the sisters. I think they sent you a thank you letter.  We ate the pizza till Wednesday. It lasted us a while. I love yall so much. Thank you. 

About my bike.  So I tried to see if there were any bike shops nearby but the closest one was 1 hour away. But I called the Underwood's (the person who texts you) and he told me he would come look at it and see what he could do. He took it to a bike shop so they could repair it. It had 4 broken spokes. I don’t know what I did. Oh well its getting fixed.  So he should call me today to see what they did. Meanwhile I’m using his bike. So I’m gonna be ok. He also got me a kickstand. I’m doing good just going every day and trying my best.  I like seeing pics of our house, family and of Sadie of Chloe.

Hi Mom!!!

I’m great!  This week I’m gonna start trying to lose weight and get more buff. I feel better when I’m doing it and Elder Lewis said I would look good.  Haha! I had to cut my belt a little more because im needing to tighten my pants more. I’m trying to eat more healthy.  No more pop.  This morning we played soccer with the sisters.  Elder Lewis is good.

We had a good week.  No Baptisms but we are still trying to meet with people. We got 2 referrals, and we contacted them and they are both really nice and they want to hear more from us. We helped this family move on Saturday morning. They were very nice and the Dad reminded me of dad.  He’s very skinny but strong and funny. Then they took us to Zaxbys. It’s a chicken place a lot like Popeye’s. Then they invited us to come to a Wetumpka High School Football game!!! Me and Elder Lewis are doing great just trying to teach in unity.

It’s good that Herriman won their football game. Ya tell Dan to read the Book of Mormon and to memorize the Restoration. It will help him.  Also, tell Dans mom that he will be fine and will have so much fun out here. Tell them that the mission itself will strengthen him and his family. Its doing that with me. Ash was telling me about her being the 2nd counselor in Miamaids. A couple weeks ago I had to go and bless the sacrament with Elder Lewis. I am praying for y'all and I thank you for the prayers.  It helps me so much. Can y'all pray for this guy Jeremy? He’s wanting to know the truth.  He actually cried because he felt the spirit when we taught him the Restoration.  I try my best! I refuse to go home until I’m done. I think of yall ALL the time also. 

MOM YOU ARE THE ACTUAL BEST!!!!!!!!! THE SISTERS WANT TO SEND U A LETTER. So expect that ok. (I ordered pizza for them and had it delivered to their apartment.  Apparently they shared it with the sister missionarys!)

Hi Mom!! 

This week was great!!! On Wednesday, we went to Birmingham to go to a follow up training and me and Elder Lewis got there an hour early so nobody else was there. So we were just talking and then this guy pulls up next to us and talks to us for a bit and then he asked us if we could give him a blessing. And so we said yes. We couldn't get into the church so we did it on the front of the church.  I had my consecrated oil. Elder Lewis gave him the oil and then I gave him the blessing. It reminded me of when me and dad went to give Rylie a blessing.  He and his wife were heading to Georgia from Utah. Nothing else really exciting but that. We actually dropped the 15 year old and mom. There were too many complications. One of our investigators went to jail on Friday night, so he couldn't come to church. Sad. I was having a hard time last week with companion stuff.  He isn’t that patient.  But I’m better now.  Ya Sister Robinson took a pic of us and sent it to you. She’s very nice. Her older son Mathew moved to Utah and is living by UVU, I think. Tracting is door to door, but we tried to go see some people when we were with Sister Robison and son. I haven’t tried the white bbq sauce.  I’ve never seen that anywhere.

Wow, Dans farewell is this week.  That came quick, when does he leave? Ashton sent me an email so I was glad about that. I’m still doing well. Just ups and downs every day. I PRAY FOR YALL TOO. We are playing basketball today at 1 with some of the young men from the ward. They don’t have school today.  I watched the 3rd and 4th quarter of the Alabama game. 

I’ve weighed myself and I’ve lost 30lbs these past 2 months. My companion and the sisters say I’m skinnier now than in our family pic. The sisters think Ash is cute lol. We eat with members like 5 times a month.  When we eat at members houses its stuff like steak, chicken, casserole, lasagna, hamburgers.

Hi Mom!!!

My week has been a little harder this week.  Just mental stuff, no biggy. This week we went and helped a member spread dirt around their yard. After that we tried to get to see people but they just weren't home. We taught this guy Ladarious about the word of wisdom and he said he would live it. Next time we saw him he was smoking. So we are trying to work with him. We met this 15 year old that is searching for the truth. So we invited her to come to church and she wanted to but then she got sick. Those 2 are very close to being baptized. 

A typical day looks like this. We get up and we do personal study at 8 then companion study at 9 then we head out for the day. We usually go try and do service in the morning because nobody is home that early. Then we go and teach people. At 9pm at night we do daily planning where we plan for the next day and set goals. We go see people that we’ve met with before or that are progressing. Then we contact the less active members. 

I have tried the boiled peanuts.  They aren’t that good though. Sister Underwood text you about transfers and sent you the picture of me and the kitten.  Me, Elder Lewis and the two sisters are all staying here.  Sister Underwood got those kittens two days ago and I held that one then he climbed up and thats when she took the picture.  LOL.  She is very nice and has a boy on a mission. She acts like you would when she talks about him. Some food prices are expensive. I did get your package and loved it so much!!! Loved the letters. The bars were fine. The weather here is changing so much. The leaves are falling and its getting colder. Two months went by quick actually. If you want to u can sell my Lacrosse helmet  I’m ok with it. DONT sell my sticks. It felt weird here not being with yall yesterday. I’m gonna be praying for grandma with her surgery. Grandpa sent me a picture of her.  Finally the Smiths by our house opened. I’m emailing Dan a lot but tell Ashton to email me. Tell Dad thanks for the license plate.  I actually really like it. Tell him that I’m working so hard with helping people learn the gospel and with their yard and moving things. Whenever I do that I always think of dad. 

Today we just went to Wal-Mart to get some things and then we are emailing and playing basketball later. Tonight we are gonna go help a guy move some boxes from his house to the next one. Yes I got a new bike lock. My bike doesn’t have a kickstand so I’ve been trying to look for a big one but I haven't found it yet.

Send a picture out front of the house with the mountains in the back. I’m gonna show Elder Lewis what Utah looks like.  Elder Lewis has 4 sisters.  We are getting along well and we like to sing songs, church and modern.

I received this cute picture and text from Sister Underwood, a member in Wetumpka today!  It made my day!

We are so excited to have Elder Webb in the area!  We're sharing our new kitties with him today although we'll eventually make sure he's fed. lol.  He asked me to let you know that tomorrow is P-day (because of the holiday) and will be sending an email then.  As far as transfers, both Elders are staying.  I'm SO GLAD!  I didn't want to lose either of them.  My son is serving in Washington state and I love it when I get a bonus picture!
