Last email....July 10, 2018

Hey Mom,

MY LAST EMAIL!!!!!!!!! I can't believe we've made it!!! It feels like i just started. Lol. We're all shocked that Krupa is leaving the area but oh well.

I'm filled with mixed emotions, I'm sad to be leaving but I'm also happy cause I get to see my family and catch up on what's went on for the past 2 years. I've made so many friends out here and some I will cherish for the longest time. So Ladies and Gentlemen here is my last week as a missionary of God's army.

TUESDAY- Today we were on an exchange and so me and Elder Butterfield went to change oil and do a tire rotation and then we went back home changed and we went to my last District meeting and we did a funeral for me and another missionary. And so it went well then I said the closing prayer and then we went to kings wings and then we went to the Church and had our last lunch with everyone then we went to drop my bike off and then we went back to the apartment and had our exchange review and then me and Elder Steele went and did the mugshot challenge(again). We both lost but I bet Steele. Lol. Then Steele went and threw it all up and I just felt like garbage then we went to a dinner appointment and had more food lol. I felt like crap but we then went home after that. Lol.

WEDNESDAY- today was a great day we went and tried to see this person Lea but she wasn't home so we went to see sister Gerlitzki and she now calls us her son's because were all so "bright" young men. Lol. Then we went and had lunch at the Fernandezes and they had me day the prayer for the food since I'm leaving and then we talked with Gavin and their family and then we took pictures and then we left and went to see Charlie and visited with him so he wasn't alone for the holiday and then we went to a subway and Elder Krupa did language study and then we met a family who met missionaries in the past and so they invited us to cone by Saturday and then we went to our branch presidents house and had pulled pork and talked with the family and they talked to me about when I go home. Then we left and went home for the night.

THURSDAY- today was a good day, 1 week till I'm home!! We started the morning off by going to the. Church and I had my exit interview with President and that went well. He trusts me a lot then we went to see Lea and we taught her a little bit about the Restoration and then we went home for lunch and we did comp study and language study and then we went to play Basketball with Gavin and then we had book of Mormon Class and a lot of people were there for this one then we had coordination with bro Stewart and we said our goodbyes and then we went home for the night.

FRIDAY- today was a good day we went to the Prestridges and helped him on his farm. Bro Fernandez was there and Elder Krupa put wood chips under the tomato plants. And Elder Steele picked squash and then I mowed in between rows of corn for weeds.(pictures below). Then we had KFC chicken and then we left and we went home and changed and then we tried to see some people but nothing so we went to Corys and had dinner with him and then we went to try and see the Cancer but they weren't home so we went to Sonic to celebrate me being 2 years out on the mish. Then we went home.

SATURDAY- today was a good day. We went to the mannings in the morning and talked with them and had some bomb sandwiches and then we left and we went home changed and then went to the Bakers and Elder Krupa Weed eated and I mowed a lawn that was like a tiny jungle lol. Then we had some dinner then we showered and went to see the family we met at subway and taught them the Restoration. They agreed with it and then we left and went home for the night. It was raining really hard.

SUNDAY- today was a sad day, we went to church and I was called up to bear my testimony in sacrament meeting and then people told me how much they're gonna miss me and how much I changed their lives and they will never forget me. Then we went home and then went with bro Prestrige to see sister Massey and give her the sacrament and then we went to the bakers and had dinner and played aggravation and then we went to English class and then we went home night.

MONDAY- today was a good/sad day my last proselyting day as a missionary. So we went to the Church and made fliers for English class and then we went to Jonny Bruskos with Sister Prestridge and had Italian lunch and then we went home and did Weekly planning and language study and then we went and tracted for a half hour and we only met 1 person. Then we went to the Mannings and Elder Krupa made tacos for everybody and then as a tradition as a missionary dies(goes home) they burn a suit representing their death. So I decided I was gonna do it and it went great sad but fun. Then we got transfer calls and Elder Krupa is leaving and Steele is staying. Lol so yup. Then we went home.

TUESDAY- today we're getting our laundry done and packing and seeing some members and bowling or and then we are going to the bakers tonight for my last dinner appointment.

My back is feeling better I've been taking ibuprofen more and it's helped. Still sore some times but I can move better.

Yeah 26 missionaries will be going home this week. Tomorrow we are going to transfers at 11. Then at 1 were going through the temple and then probably going to the mission home and then the hotel. I won't have any Wi-Fi till the hotel. The mannings might come up and take me and Elder Fotu out to eat 1 last time that night as well.

I think it's funny dad' and me are gonna be comps for a day. Lol.

I wouldn't trade anything for the last 2 years that I've had. I'm gonna miss the people of the South but I'm glad Im able to come see my real family out there. I'm so excited to see y'all. I'm so sad that I can't take the people I've met our here home with me. Alabama will be in my heart forever the people of the South will never be forgotten and as I've been told here I'll never be forgotten. People can't wait till I come back and see them lol.

Well y all that's the week and I'm sad to see it come to and end but I'm also excited to see what's in store for me in the future. I'd like to thank everyone who was a part of my mission and who gave me the encouragement to press forward. I'll end this with my firm testimony.

My mission has changed my life. I've seen people lives change and I've also seen my own character change. It was such a privilege to be a part of the work here in Alabama. It is a great place filled with great and not so great people. I'm gonna miss the people here but I'm glad I had the chance to serve here. I know Heavenly Father lives and loves each and every one of you he's aware of your circumstances. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior. I've came so close to them just being out here. I know that this is the only true church on the earth with the fullness of the gospel. I'm so thankful for family and I can't wait to give them a hug. If anybody has somone going on a mission my answer is DO IT! It's the best decision ive ever made. I say this in the name of our savior and redeemer Just a Christ Amen.

LOVE YOU FOREVER.

July 2, 2018

Hey yall!!!

This week has been a great one!!! I have a week and a half left on my mission. Crazy right!!! I've had so many experiences out here, ones I will cherish and ones I want to forget. Lol. Anyways here's the week.

TUESDAY- today we biked to the Church and did some area book work and then we did our district meeting over Skype and just let me tell ya it was sooo awkward. It was good but just awkward. Lol. Then afterwards we went home for lunch, it was really hot biking in that. Then we did comp and Language study and then we went and saw this guy Seth who's a less active and has severe anxiety and I could relate. I just don't have it as bad and I can control it. Then we went to a place called Frosty Mug. And that was really good. Then we went out to Carbon Hill and tried to find a person but we couldn't find the address so we went and had dinner with these Mexican people and then we came home.

WEDNESDAY- Today was a VERY hot day. We had to go put our car in the shop cause of a crack in the bumper(1000 dollars later) and so we were biking. So we biked to the Church and I did some of my plan and then we went and tried to see a lady but she wasn't home so then we went home and had lunch and did comp study and lang study and then we tracted a couple housed, we got nothing so then we went to the Cranors for our dinner appointment and we ask what happened to his tv and he says this, "well you know my tv how you'd say Gave up the ghost" lol. Then we had pizza then we went over to the Church and had BOM class and then we went home.

THURSDAY- today was another hot day, we went to that house we've been working on and cleaned some more and the lady that wanted help got us lunch and then we biked home and had Comp and lang study and then a member bought us pizza and then we went and tried finding people and we found this guy Jordan who has seen a lot of things in his life. He watched his friend get shot 3 times and so he's been trying to find a religion. We taught him and he seemed interested and he took a BOM and then we left and went to this place called Saltys and then we went home.

FRIDAY- today Elder Krupa went to a Spanish Confrence and me and Steele stayed here. We went and got the car and we did some family history and then we tried seeing some people but they weren't home so we went with our branch pres to see this guy Named Frank and we gave him the sacrament and a blessing and then we went to Corys and has some really good pork and then we went home.

SATURDAY- so today we went over to this inactive members and did some service for him. Mowed his lawn and painted and cleared off a car port. Then we used his mower to try and find a person that wanted their Lawn mower but the person was in Birmingham so we took it back and then we went home and showered and went and saw lea and then we went and had dinner at Los Reyes with the Crowleys and then we went to Charlie's and then we came home and Elder Steele baught 4 pizzas. Lol.

SUNDAY- today we went to church and the Stake pres was there and people were really sad to hear my last Sunday is next week. Let me tell ya we got some meal appointments lol. Then after church we went to try and follow up with people and then we went and tried to see some more people then we had dinner and then we went to see Jordan but no go. But we taught someone who was a 20 year old half naked girl that worked at chick fla. So they're some expirences that you just don't want to remember. Lol. Then we had English class then came home.

MONDAY-TODAY we are going up to Ensley for a hike and to a cave.  And then staying the night for an exchange. It should be really fun!!!

So that's my week and I hope y'all have a great next week. I'm trying my best and leaving it all out on the line. I'm sprinting to the finish. Here's a quote that's been in my head for awhile, it's a good one.

"I failed Is 10× more of a man than if someone said what if, cause what if never went to the arena".

The 5th picture is the lawn I cut. It's on a big slope.

We are going to a members house later. We are trying to get an oil change on our car. But everywhere we go, they were closing.  We have a lot of dinner appointments just cause I'm leaving.

It does seem unreal that my mission is almost over.

We did the burger challenge again.  I lost with half a burger and 2 buns and 2 onion rings left.  Elder Steele had 3 buns left and a lot of fries so I beat him. Lol.  He’s been training for it and I didn’t lol.

I'm still sending my bike home Tuesday.

Have a great week!!!
Elder Webb

June 25, 2018

Hey y'all!

This week has been a good one, I'm sad to see it go but I'm excited for the next one. We've been doing a lot of service lately for our community. We've mowed Lawns and put in a mailbox and cleaned a house. So anyways I've had a good time on my mission. Here's the week.

TUESDAY- Today was a good day, we went to District Meeting in Inverness cause we had interviews right after and so I gave a training on what a Successful missionary is. It went well. So then we finished up the meeting and we went to get lunch and then do comp study and then we came back and waited for our turn for interviews. We were supposed to be at 330 but we ended up being at 5. So we had our interviews and Sister Sainsbury was getting advice from every missionary who's been out the longest(the veterans). So interviews went great and Elder Krupa and Steele said that when I leave they'll either be split up or they'll get a greenie. So we don't know what's gonna happen. They both wanna stay but we think Krupas out. Then we came home and then we went over to the Bakers and had dinner and played aggravation and then we came home for the night.

WEDNESDAY- today we went and got our car examined for the bumper to be replaced and then we did comp study and then we went home for lunch and then we went with a member bro Fernandez and we saw Charlie and we taught him the Plan of salvation and Brother Fernandez basically told Charlie that he needs to get baptized and go through the temple before he dies. Lol. There was no questions after that. So then he showed us some of the stuff he has and we moved a door that he had and then we left and went back to the Church and then we went over to the Archibalds and shared a message with them and then we went home and had dinner and then we went to Him class and 3 people showed up this time. It was great then we tried seeing this guy Chris but he wasn't home so we went to Sonic then home.

THURSDAY- today we biked to the Church and I did my plan for about an hour and then we did some area book for an hour and then we biked home and drove to Jim n Nicks for lunch with Sister Prestridge, it was really good. Then we came back home and did Weekly planning for about 2 hours and then Elder Krupa did his Language study and then we went and saw this guy Seth who hasn't been to church since 2003. We talked with him and laughed with him and he told us that there wasn't a chance he would come back so then he said but I'll read the book of Mormon with y'all. He hasn't read it since then. So then we left and went to the Church for our coordination meeting and then brother Stewart took us to Lee's chicken and he baught us food for the night and then we went home.

FRIDAY- so today we went over to a house and we helped clean this abandoned house. Homeless people used to live in it and were kicked out cause of it. So we all did different stuff. Elder Steele Put in a mailbox and I mowed the lawn and Elder Krupa used the trimmer. We then cleaned a little bit inside and then we were getting ready to go and it just started pouring rain. The road was a lake. When we were cleaning a room I decided to get some gloves out of the car and as I was walking out of the room a huge clash of lighting came and I turned around and went back into the room. The big man Upstairs didn't want me to leave. Lol. Jk. So we got home showered and had lunch and then we did comp study and then we went and saw sister Gerlitzki and Elder Steele fixed her computer and then we went to try and see some other people but only one person was home and we gave their child a blessing. Then we went home and me and Elder Steele made tator tot casserole and it was delicious.

SATURDAY- so today was a rainy day. Elder Fotu and Adams showed up during our personal study and they talked with us and then we went out and it was storming so bad. Lighting flashes everywhere. But Elder Krupa still wanted go out. So we went and tried to see some people but only 1 person was home we read the 1st chapter if the book of Mormon with her. Then we went home and had lunch and then we went to help the person with the house again and we trimmed the trees and moved sticks out to the road and tried to get a bush out but no luck and so then we went home and changed and did comp study and then Language study and then we had dinner and then we went to see Charlie and he was in bad shape. (He's had an open heart surgery) He had no energy and so we talked with him and read a scripture with him and then we went home and we got a big storm. Then we got home.

SUNDAY- today we went to church and we passed the sacrament and then we had other classes and then we went home and had lunch and then we went tracting for an hour and we only found 1 person and then we went to see some less actives but they weren't home so then we went to the Bakers and Elder Krupa made tacos for them and we played aggravation and they were watching some teens that night so I decided to bring out the lacrosse stick and show them what it's like. Then we played 2 on 2 football.(I made the winning catch.. Just sayin) then we went to the Church for English class  and then we went home for the night.

MONDAY- today we did laundry and got some stuff at the store.  Later today we are gonna try and see some people we contacted in a trailer park yesterday. We just got done with disc golf.  It was just us 3.  Its soooo hot today. 92 with 90% humidity.

We are gonna call Doc this week to see how shes doing.  A couple weeks ago they said she was doing well, but we want to check before I go home.  But don’t worry, she’s gonna be active till she dies. She’s a stubborn lady. Lol. If you met her you’d know why. And we haven’t heard from Gavin. We are going to try and reach out to him this week before I go.

Dang, the house looks good...........no words. Lol. What happened to dads hunting prizes on the wall?  Well when I shoot mine, it’s going in the house. Haha. It looks really good!!!!!!!!! I don't blame dad for wanting to wait and clean garage and shed. Lol. He hasn't had a bear to help him. Lol.

One of the kids showed me Fortnite last night. Lol. It looks so weird. I know Tyler can’t wait to show it to me. Lol!

We bike only like once a week. We're gonna bike a lot on Wednesday and Thursday cause our car has to get a new bumper.

Yeah, I am feeling more nervous and sad. Mainly cause it's hard to say goodbye to the many friends I made out here but my time is almost up. I called Kenny, he told me that when I come visit to tell him ahead of time. He'll cook for us. Lol. His words.  After the airport I probably would rather go home and I can unpack stuff and then go to dinner later.

I wanna try and send home by bike next week, Tuesday. We have district meeting that day. We will also be in Ensley on Monday for the district activity. We are going on the same hike we did last time. So it’ll be nice but were going on exchange after that. One of the guys up there wants me to come home and date his sister. Lol.

I'm 100% up with mowing with Landon.  I love it.

Anyways loved the camping pics!!!  LOVE YOU FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!
Elder Webb

I'll end this with my testimony.

As a missionary, it's hard to go around and knock on people's doors not knowing what's on the other side. But it's hard when people reject us. But what I've learned is that people aren't rejecting you...theyre rejecting the message you bring. So that's helped me a lot throughout the years I've been here. Ya see people know about Christ here that's what makes it hard. They (think) they already know Christ and they just tell a lot of people to go away. But then you have some that accept you and are baptized, the Lord's Elect. I testify that as we find the Elect people they will experience a change of heart and you also will be able to witness the spirit working through them as well. I love this Gospel , it's brought me so much joy and comfort and hope for the future. In this world it's really hard to find that but once you come to know your Savior Jesus Christ nothing can bring more joy in this world than that. I know this Church is the Lord's kingdom restored to the earth. He's called a prophet to lead and guide us. I have a testimony of the book of Mormon. I agree with and Stand by the prophet Joseph Smith who said "a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book" i so testify of it! I love you all and hope you find the joy that I've found in this Gospel.
